  Delicious food! Very filling and perfect for the road. The waitresses were very polite and accommodating. Couldn't ask for a better dining experience.

  ***i would like to add that I just spoke with a manager - Eric- he was extremely professional and apologetic- he is giving us gift certificate for future meal- since he can't do refunds. Hopefully, he will be able to use my complaint to work with staff so future meals will be better. *** The Shelbyville Bob Evans has been horrible! We stopped eating at the restaurant because food was always awful as well as the service. The staff regularly has private conversations in the kitchen and because they are talking so loud they can be heard throughout the restaurant. If you have a complaint about your food they just get a glazed over look and say oh sorry. We love the broasted chicken, so recently have been doing carry out. The first couple of times it went pretty well and food was decent. But past 3 times issues- 1st time shorted on chicken - 2nd time - everything was cold except the chicken because they apparently had the sides in containers sitting on counter while chicken was cooking. Last evening and will be our last time to order food from them- same thing sides were cold sitting out when I arrived and chicken still had 10 minutes to cook. The mashed potatoes were way too thick and had some strange orangish stuff swirled throughout as if they used a spoon covered in some other food to scoop them- gravy was in small containers and were only half full- the banana bread was dry and hard- and pieces look like they had been smashed. The chicken was the only edible part of the meal- we will NEVER order food from or eat at this Bob Evans again, which is sad, because Bob Evans has a great menu and if food is prepared properly it is delicious.

  The waiters are slow and gross. It took 50 mins to get the food. The food was good but was not worth the wait. Do not recommend.
